American preacher Apostle Rhonda Royal Hatton has got people talking after announcing that she has two husbands, Maurice and Ian, only for her explanation to reveal that she was referring to two different sides of the same man.

 

In a Facebook post shared on October 29, 2026, the preacher began with an announcement that appeared to suggest she was in a marriage involving two men.

 

“Big announcement!! I can come out with it now finally! I have two husbands! Maurice and Ian!” she wrote.

 

However, Rhonda soon explained that Maurice and Ian were not two separate men but different personalities of her husband, Bishop Ian Maurice Hatton.

 

She described Maurice as the quiet, educated theologian and preacher who enjoys discussing and debating Scripture.

 

Ian, on the other hand, is the protective, supportive and outgoing side of her husband, who enjoys dancing and having fun with her.

 

Her use of the hashtag #HeIsTwoDifferentMen also made it clear that she was playfully describing the different sides of one person.

 

Rhonda added that the three of them had been together for 35 years, referring to herself and the two personalities of her husband.
