Dr Aggrey Kyobuguzi Headlines Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba's Presidential Endorsement in Mbarara District

MBARARA DISTRICT — Dr Aggrey Kyobuguzi has emerged as a prominent figure in the political mobilisation surrounding Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba and the Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU) in Greater Mbarara, following his reported endorsement of Gen Kainerugaba’s presidential bid.

 

Described by his supporters as a political kingpin in Greater Mbarara, Dr Kyobuguzi is credited with dedicating much of his youthful political work to mobilising support for H.E. President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni since the early 2000s.

 

Known for his mobilisation networks among young people and members of the business community, Dr Kyobuguzi’s endorsement is being viewed by supporters as a significant boost to the MK and PLU mobilisation efforts in Ankole. 

 

Beyond politics, Dr Kyobuguzi is known as the Chairman of Kentim Group, with business interests spanning education, agriculture, construction, logistics, sports, real estate, manufacturing, oil and gas, among other sectors.

 

His political networks, business profile and longstanding involvement in mobilisation have positioned him as a notable figure in the unfolding political activities around Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba Museveni in the Greater Mbarara area and the whole country.
